Comments
Comments: Mt. Kinsman Trail had scant snow cover with sections of manageable ice until 3000' or so, then a shallow but well-packed snow cover. KRT was generally packed snow with some drifting. We wore rock spikes car-to-car. Drifts weren't sustained enough to require snowshoes and none of the seven people up there today used them.
Frigid but scenic hike with Chris, Sarah and Renee. Views across to Franconia Ridge were stunning over the snow-crusted trees up high.
