Comments
Comments: Lower elevation of hike has short periods with ice but mostly frozen ground with easy traction. A bit of snow higher up (up to 4 inches between Squam and Percival) but easy to navigate with microspikes. Snowshoes not needed even though the trail between Doublehead and Percival had not been packed.
