Water Crossing Notes: Crossed the usual log on the way in but water levels rose slightly during the day forcing us downstream a bit

Comments: Spikes up to the junction of Avalon/A-Z then we switched to snowshoes..we kept these on until our return to the Avalon trail… some were in spikes that were definitely working harder in the many areas of unconsolidated snow, I always said that “ Momma didn’t raise no dummy, and if she did it was my brother”… nice day out with the Lil’ Squirt and enjoyed running into Bill Cronin whose tracks we followed throughout the day
