Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment: Snowshoes, Light Traction
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: One crossing on this trail, log to aid crossing is intact. I didn't trust my balance so brought and used waders.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: In good shape up to Rollins Trail, a few blowdowns above, two large ones and a few small ones. The small ones could be tackled with a small to medium saw, the two large ones would benefit from a crosscut. All blowdowns easily stepped over or skirted at current snow levels.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Maybe a little chilly today for many pups!

Comments
Comments: Wore rockspikes to crossing, then snowshoes to summit. Snowshoes helpful in drifted areas especially above about 2300 feet. Some areas below crossing had running water and ice. Some trenchy areas shortly above Rollins Trail still had running water, plus ice and snow. Last ledge below summit awkward with snow, ice, and bare rock, but could be surmounted with snowshoes - YMMV.
Some hikers had traveled Blueberry Ledge Trail and Rollins Trail, ledges on BRT were reported as "spicy."
