Comments
Comments: Just a dusting of snow over ice at the bottom but the snow levels steadily increased as I ascended, about 8-10" on the ridge with 1-2' drifts. Started in spikes and switched to snowshoes after about 2.5 miles. Broke trail to the Carter-Moriah junction and turned around there since I was flying solo and I knew it would be tough to navigate and break trail alone on the ridge.
