Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: I didn’t park in lot but saw 3 cars there. The lot was firm to walk on. I parked up the road but the road parking was tough. There is an off road spot across the street a bit up but it wasn’t plowed and was soft. I was afraid to get stuck.

Comments
Comments: Down before Greeley Pond junction trail was hard packed. Crossings were rock hopable. After that the trail is a mix of open water, soft snow that gets worse a you climb and large snow drifts. There is ice under snow. Snow was slippery on the steep part to the ridge. I wore spikes up. The ridge had huge snow drifts and is full of very soft snow. It’s a mess. I’d wear snowshoes. There is a couple open rocks after you past East Osceola but….Therecare a couple downed trees along the ridge. I took the by pass up but took the bypass by pass on way down. Saw no foot prints and didn’t want to guess on the up but the bypass was very slippery so found my way down the other bypass. Wore k10’s on way down after the ridge. Glad I brought them. It was very slippery with rocks sticking out and some ice. Trees were my friend today. Took spikes off after water crossing.
