Steinwach’s Trailhead lot (Reed Rd) is fully accessible. No snow. It is, however, 100% sheer ice. You could ice skate on it. |

Easy "winter" hike with a few icy ledges to keep things interesting. What snow there is is packed down, zero need for snowshoes. I didn’t even need my gaiters, although they did add a windproof layer for my legs which was nice on this blustery day. I barebooted all day, and others wore light traction. |
