 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
The road to trailhead parking has the usual two ditches to get past. After the second ditch there were a lot of potholes, coming out was a bit dicey as I slid a bit while going over the potholes. |

 | Comments: |
The beginning of the trail had an inch of fresh snow over frozen leaves. At 1 mile in I put on my microscopes as I knew that I would be back peddling soon after if they were not on plus there was a couple inches of fresh snow over a hard packed trail. There was water on the trail at the beginning and some places higher up. The ridge between Starr King and Waumbek had a few inches of fresh snow and wind drifts over post holed (ankle deep) hard packed snow. Microscopes were fine however snowshoes would be a safer way to travel between the peaks. |
