Comments
Comments: Zealand Rd has small areas of snow/ice so really fast right now. Barefooted until just below 1st water crossing. Can be bare booted higher but I opted for them. Spring hiking, all kinds of trail conditions. Lots of open rocks, running water on trail. Trail is mostly firm with some ice. Most folks out were in spikes, snowshoes would be on/off & really not needed today. Lots of snow on top but solid. Quick down, lots of melting on trail & road. Snow & Cold temps coming so these conditions will be changing for the weekend.
