Comments
Comments: *As can be expected, hard pack trail with a mix of packed snow and ice. Went with spikes fairly quickly for the ascent up Whiteface. We went up the ledges in spikes, but crampons could definitely fit the bill as well. Otherwise, spikes were definitely sufficient.

*Definitely forgot how steep that last push up to the Passaconaway summit is!

*An owl (we believe it was a Boreal Owl) swooped down between us coming off the Pass. summit cone and watched us from a tree branch just off the trail. First time seeing an owl on the trail for us!
