Late afternoon trail run up to the west summit of Velvet Rocks (just behind the A.T. shelter) via the Co-Op parking lot. The stretch of trail along the Dartmouth athletic field is a sheet of ice, but everything else is 99.9% snow and ice free. Hiked up in bare boots. Some frost heaves on the trail. This closes out my 2024 hiking season! |
