Trails were mostly dry, just a couple of wet areas and spots of breakable crust, totally avoidable. Bare booted the whole way with zero issues. About a dozen people out enjoying the 40oF temps and blue skies. Felt like early spring. These are great trails, fun to wander with lots of options to meander through open woodsa. No views from fire tower clearing, a couple vistas on the way up to Oak Hill. Fire tower sturdy and in great shape. Thanks to maintainers of this and trails! |
