With the exception of the initial few dozen feet, and a few very short melted spots, one can stay on snow/ice all the way to the summit. Still generally one to two inches of granular in the woods that should survive the last portion of this thaw. I barebooted roundtrip, but some may prefer light traction. Not currently enough snow to consider snowshoeing, but it will only take a few inches of accumulation to put this back in play.
