The Teal Goat and his SBS did an awesome job with blowdowns removal, no new ones |
|
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Three happy and well-behaved doggos on our descent, this trail lends itself to pupper hiking. Did see a few spots where doggos are leaving their poop in the center of the trail and it’s being stepped on and spread with spikes >ick< |

 | Comments: |
Tecumseh for sunrise on a well-packed, microspikeable trail all the way to the summit. Of the three water crossings only one (the first) had open water and required rock hopping. The other two were relatively solid, although the coming rain and warm up may do some damage. The base of the trail all to the way to the summit was firm enough for microspikes without any postholing. While both sides of the loop at the junction were broken out, the left side (clockwise) to the summit was solid, where the right side looked soft. Summit marker and rocks were buried, and the views of the Osceolas, Tri’s and Mt Washington were stellar, with lenticular clouds in effect, then some wispy undercast as the system blew through |
