Comments
Comments: Wet snow so decided to wear Hillsounds trail crampon pros to avoid balling up. Left the snowshoes in the car since the trail was broken out and packed down [see below]. Unstable, wet, mushy, rocks, mud cover.

Snowshoes would have been useless with the mixed conditions until we got about 1/2 mile from the top in which we wished we had strapped the shoes on the pack from the car…Lesson learned.
