Comments
Comments: Crawford Path is packed down and great with snowshoes. When you drop down into the woods after Pierce, there were some drifts and the trail was in and out of the trees at times, but not too bad. At some point after the sign for the Eisenhower Loop, the packed trail ended completely, and we bushwacked a bit until we could locate a carin. Once we found a carin (they are completely snow covered, but you can see that they line up,) it was smooth sailing up to Eisenhower. The snow-covered Presidentials and snow-encrusted trees all along the Crawford Path made for spectacular scenery!
