Three in our group of 4 carried snowshoes but wore spikes except for the first 1/2 mile or so which was easily barebooted. One chose to wear snowshoes after the first mile to take advantage of the televators on the ascent. Trail was well packed and became slushy on the way down with temps in the mid 40's. |
