Pick your poison. Probably could have barebooted it but wore spikes the whole way. Some folks were wearing snowshoes. Honestly there were a few times I thought trail crampons would be helpful just because of the way they get down into the snow. No real ice anywhere to be seen. Everything’s gonna change with the rain. [USE SNOWSHOES NOW TO MAINTAIN THE INTEGRITY OF THE FOOTBED AFTER THE SUBSEQUENT FREEZE!] |
