Comments
Comments: A huge shout out to the folks who packed down the trail & cleaned up the many blowdowns over the past few days. The trail is well packed out. I used spikes until about .25 miles after reaching 3300’,then switched to snowshoes mostly for the much appreciated televators. It was boney above treeline until the last 20’ or so to the summit, which had drifts and lots of post holes. A pleasant day below treeline. It was wicked windy above treeline. There were about 8 people ahead of me and I met over a dozen folks on my way down. Only 5 of us used snowshoes but the trail was solid enough for spikes only.
