Old Troy is closed from the north but in good condition from the south. There is a road closed sign about a mile before the trailhead, the closure is after the trailhead. |

Water has been running down the trail and freezing for at least a week, it has a pretty good ice flow on it. New microspikes gripped great today, older ones with less sharp points not quite so well. The various scrambles which can be tough in really icy conditions were fine today. Trail pictures at link. |
