 | Comments: |
Warm day with quite a few other people out.
This trail is speedy with grippy snow for now, but conditions will change with the warmup and freeze/thaw cycles as there is minimal snow. I barebooted to about halfway up and then wore light traction the rest of the time. I did bring snowshoes in case I decided to head down Mead Tr towards Guinea Pond, but I switched to an out and back because I didn't want to deal with the snowmobile traffic on the Sandwich Notch Rd roadwalk (the snowshoes wouldn't really provide any benefit over light traction anyway). |
