 | Comments: |
Winter trail from lot to Ravine lodge well tracked/packed, road beyond gate also plowed for easier access to trailhead. Gorge Brook trail very well packed but lots of posthole marks just outside main track - snowshoes encouraged - trail is well packed all the way to the summit. Removed snowshoes for descent but that caused a few slips and small slides coming down, stayed on center of tracked path to avoid postholing. Trail is in great shape and a few blowdowns have clear paths around them. |
