The trails were broken out, but haven’t firmed up. Snow was very soft and hard to get traction on steep sections. Even with snowshoes. I made an attempt to go down on Sabbaday Trail, but that was even more soft and difficult to navigate. Someone had been on it, but wasn’t well broken out.
Someone may have also continued to South Tripyramid, but it didn’t look as well traveled.
I saw about 8-10 people, all with snowshoes. If we get a little warmer and then a freeze the trail will be set good. |
