Liberty is a bit bony low but not so bad that snowshoe use is a problem. Fills in very nicely as you gain elevation. It's getting consolidated but snowshoes would still be my choice. I would definitely recommend snowshoes for the ridge...very unconsolidated between Liberty and Flume even though several snowshoers went through today. The steeps coming off Liberty were snowshoe skiing. |
