Beautiful day on the Moose! We used our snowshoes from the car to the summit, and back again. I would advise this for now. The trail was pretty well packed down, but the snow would build-up on microspikes easily, as it is sand-like. The top was more icy, but not too bad. Worth the road walk, which was about .8 MI from the second gate. |
