 | Comments: |
Generally a trace to a couple of inches of powder. Underneath is a mixture of bare ground, old frozen granular (deeper pockets in places up high), and some blue ice. A little bit of drifting on the ridge. I barebooted roundtrip, but some may feel more comfortable with light traction. Snowshoes would be a liability from this particular route until we get more snow.
Cloudy afternoon with temperatures in the teens after this morning's cold start. |
