 | Comments: |
Cold day going up Avalon, Field, and Willey! Put on snowshoes starting just below A-Z trail junction, for traction as much as anything else, kept them on rest of the day. Broke out the Willey Range Trail between Field and Willey. Challenging trail - uneven footing, several-foot drifts in places, blowdowns to get around/over. Took a bit of work to find it from the Field summit (it's a left just before the summit cairn - when we started it was just a space between trees, no footsteps, it's better now!). |
