 | Comments: |
trail in good shape with mostly packed powder until the junction going n or s on the hancock loop. The steep section up to n had some good foot holds and all I needed was spikes, the ridge was deeper powder with plenty of drifts [snowshoes!]. going down off S was like skiing with spikes on, few foot holds and a lot of loose powder. One the way out Hancock notch it was obvios the many (>13) hikers today made the trail a bit better packed. |
