 | Comments: |
Trail conditions are a mix of bare trail, ice, and snow. Snow (when present) was a bit crusty but shallow; snowshoes wouldn’t have been much help. Plenty of ice flow on ledges but generally avoidable. Some flat frozen-over trail
We never put on our spikes given the amount of exposed trail and thinness of much of the ice, but the few other folks we saw on trail had theirs on. North-facing areas tended to be icier and snowier, with the worst conditions between Klem and Rand. |
