Comments
Comments: The trails are packed solid. No need for snowshoes at all today. The Hillsounds worked to perfection with no balling even with the warming afternoon temperatures. Note that the stairs on Osseo are completely covered with snow. That steep section has some toe holds kicked into the snow by hikers. It was a easy pass today, but with a few inches of fresh powder that section could be laborious. Above and below the steeps the Osseo trail is absolutely sweet.
