Water flow was moderate. Rocks are ice covered at all crossings. Easy to cross with spikes on. |

Cleared over 40 blowdowns between Bondcliff and West Bond. Trail is clear as of today. No telling how long that will last. |

As others have said, trail conditions are highly varied. Lincoln Woods trail is mostly hard packed snow and ice. I bare-bootedboth ways without difficulty. Bondcliff is packed snow and in great condition from the bridge to the left turn at Black Brook. Above that the trail varies from packed snow to blue ice to bare rock. Spikes worked well here. Above tree line on Bondcliff is bare rock and ice. Loose snow begins on the approach to Bond. I switched to snowshoes here and kept them on to West Bond and back. Looks like a previous group had gone beyond West Bond, unknown if they only went to Guyot Shelter or kept going. |
