Parking/Access Road Notes: Parking on Pinehurst Rd hiker lot. Room for 3-4 cars. None on arrival or departure this morning.

Trail Maintenance Notes: Trails in good shape, a couple of small old stepovers, no problems.

Comments: Trail was mostly a crust of shallow snow, some bare ground here and there. Two of us wore light traction (not enough depth for microspikes), one bare booted,no problem.

A skim of ice on Squam for a distance off shore. Temps in the teens, sun was nice and warm.
