Parking/Access Road Notes: Beaver Brook XC ski area was a nice woods walk over to Gale River Road 
Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Ice - Black, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Ice - Breakable Crust, Snow - Unpacked Powder, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Snow/Ice - Frozen Granular, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Snow/Ice - Monorail (Unstable), Snow/Ice - Postholes 
Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment: Snowshoes, Light Traction 
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: 3 Water crossings that took care and skill. Microspikes here were key as the rocks were encrusted in ice and no snowbridges. The 3rd crossing going up took particular care as the ice was untrustable.

Trail Maintenance Notes: Most obstacles have been cleared the day before and the day was smoother than expected.

Comments: We utilized microspikes most of the day. Still not enough snow lower and lots of roots and rocks to navigate still. Many thanks to the crew who did some maintenance the day before.
