BEST POSSIBLE DECEMBER CONDITIONS. If you need Isolation, NOW is the time. Rocky Branch, Engine Hill bushwhack, ISO-express bushwhack. All trails hard packed with 2” of fluffy stuff. We didn’t see anyone else on the trail. Bushwhacks were well worn in, brought snowshoes, but bare booted the whole way up, light traction used for water crossings only.
Again, if you need a December Isolation, do not hesitate. Trail is in incredible conditions for easy bare booting. |
