 | Comments: |
The trail is 3/4 packed snow and the rest is made up of bare ground , running water and ice and rocks. I kept spikes on the whole way and just had to tread lightly on the Rocky stuff or step to the side into the deep snow. The firm snow made the ascent and descent of N and S easier than usual. The ridge had lots of blowdowns that were nuisance . No snowshoes were needed |
