Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Parked at seven dwarfs, put $10 in mailbox. Go up road, cross bridge on right and keep going till to "Trail" sign (left) which takes you to Haystack road. Met Hans when we got back to car, great conversation.

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Snow/Ice - Frozen Granular

Recommended Equipment: Snowshoes, Light Traction 
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: One on N. Twin. Had to watch for iced over rocks.  
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: If you go bring a saw. Trees down near top, some not very big. We were able to remove a few pines that weren't totally frozen in the snow.

Comments: Great day. Only ones on trail. Barebooted up, used spikes on way down. Trail is good compared to other reports. Some step overs, unders & walk arounds but all easy. We were out of the wind all day.
