Great day up there today. Bright sun, virtually no winds at all on the Ridge, maybe 5mph on the summit. Trails packed powder, a little looser on the ridge past Pierce and some minimal icy areas on the cone of Eisenhower. Microspikes worked well all day. Quite a few hikers up there today. Tim C. was lamenting not having attacked the Northern Presis today given the conditions, although who knows what was up there. Southern Presis definitely great today.... |
