Comments
Comments: Ammomoosuc Ravine well packed to L.O.C. hut. Snowshoed the Crawford Path from there to the summit of "George" without trouble, just firm pole plants crossing "the snowfield" sidehill area. Also was able to snowshoe straight up Monroe from the hut(MSR snowshoes have superior traction).
Met Hiker Ed & Bruce Pfendler's group below the cone on their southern treaverse, and Eric & Erica on "the big W" summit partway into their complete traverse, hiked over to Monroe w/them in bluebird undercast conditions. I guess I saw everyone but rocket21 and Wolfgang!Light winds, temp @ 10F on the ridge today.
