 | Comments: |
Gorgeous day to be out. Spikes were only useful on the road, snowshoes recommended for the entirety of the hike. The trail had a good snowshoe track but it was still soft enough for spikes to sink in a bit. Why waste energy? It was a rare day with almost no wind at the summit. Passed by 6 other hikers on Gorge Brook, and saw another group from afar making their way up or down the carriage road between the south and main summits. Of note, Hurricane trail looks like it has been skiied recently, but Snapper has not seen recent traffic. |
