Late start for me today. Lots of folks skiing today, however only 1 seen skinning to the top. Snowshoes are the best way up right now. Unconsolidated powder down low, firmer past the outlook. Not many out today, most wearing snowshoes. Trail has been well traveled so shoes will only help pack it down. At the summit sign everyone went left, it’s well packed to the top. To the right it wasn’t broken out. Once on top 3 of us separately broke out the right side. Not sure if anyone else followed us but it’s broken out now. Several leaners with snow laden branches. One spruce down which we had to go around. Before and after the outlook there is minor water on trail, creating some boney areas & potential icy spots once it really gets cold. |
