Comments
Comments: Quick trip to the falls, first on the trail today. New snow increased from 1" at the start to over 6" at the shelter/falls. Bare booted to a point above the rocky stretches along aside the stream; rocks were covered but nothing is filled in so it was tricky in snowshoes. Above this point, snowshoes are the way to go. Packed the trail, however as I descended two more were ascending without snowshoes, so trail may be a bit rough. Was surprised the snow was a bit sticky and had some balling on snowshoes and on bottom of boots while wearing snowshoes.
