Comments
Comments: The Belknaps got a few inches of new snow out of last night's storm. Decent snowshoeing but not super. Lower down was thin and sticky and higher up was deeper and softer. Most of this loop was untouched except for the trails in the immediate vicinity on Shannon, which had been postholed. The deepest and driftiest section was Blue Trail coming down from Anna. Glad I was breaking trail downhill and snowshoes were essential here.

Some brief hints of sun along the way but it stayed mostly overcast. Today's conditions won't mean much after this coming week's warmup and rain, which will make a mess of the current snow pack. :(
