Comments
Comments: Ascent via Kelley and Lawrence trails from Ferncroft trailhead. There were a few inches of snow at the start of the trail and maybe a foot or more on the summit. The bushwhack was tough in snowshoes. I would recommend going around the open areas with blowdowns because the walking is like an obstacle course, and avoid the super thick patch of firs near the summit--circle around to the east to get to the high point through more open forest. I wore snowshoes the entire hike in and out.
