Comments
Comments: Trails are in the greater Franconia snow-shadow, so the snowpack isn't as deep as other places. Maybe 1-2 inches of powder fell over night. Overall depths ranged from 3 to 12 inches. Ground is not frozen in places, so there is slush lurking underneath. Snowshoes were the way to go, even though it was bony in a few areas. We left a decent track, but I suspect the upcoming week's weather forecast will obliterate the natural snow here, such that it is.

Cloudy morning with temperatures rising into the upper 30s.
