Comments
Comments: Nice hard packed conditions all the way to the East Peak. A few ice bulge sections, easy to get around. Slide had a nice track across it. Chimney bypass was icy. We by passed the By-pass through the woods on the way back. From the East peak to the main summit, there was some pockets of deeper loose snow. No need for snowshoes today. We wore either crampons and/or Hillsounds all day. Crampons for the descent are highly recommended.

Great day out today with Hiker Ed, and John Gutowski. Congratulations to Hiker Ed for completing his 4000th New England 4000 footer peak on Osceola summit today.

Nice meeting up and talking again with Lefty E. on his way back down. Beautiful blue sky with some light winds.
