There is a blowdown not far from leaving the house where hikers have to hike around. The tree has a lot of branches but it could perhaps be taken care of with a saw. A chainsaw would be more efficient. Sections of trail with water on it...erosion is taking place. |

What a fun hike! We started from the house and went up to the outlook and back. The start of the trail is a rocky footbed with rocks poking out so using snowshoes would have been a nuisance...we were barebooting. After crossing the cross country skiing, snowshoes would have been ideal...we were barebooting. That said, the hike was doable barebooting. |
