Comments
Comments: A beautiful day to be out. Mt. Kinsman trail has some sections with bulging blue ice that have to be negotiated with care. Microspikes were just barely sufficient. The worst is just past the two bog bridges. Some hikers have made paths around the icy portions.

The Kinsman Ridge trail is in good shape and could be bare booted. Nice to meet Mike, aka Brian, coming down when I was approaching the Kinsman Ridge trail before 11 am.

There were quite a few hikers out today, though I met none coming up from Lonesome Lake.
