Comments
Comments: A fine day to be out. This completed my November every-day-4k calendar grid. Ran into Hiker Ed and the Footes, which was a lovely surprise. Bareboot for about the first half mile mainly out of sheer stubbornness, then spikes from there and back to the car. There are some areas of open and running water which will likely freeze over this week immediately after the second water crossing, and just above the view. I carried snowshoes but did not feel they would have been of any use today - another storm perhaps but the cover is too thin right now. I felt like if I had them on in the steeps I could very easily grab a front point and tumble arse over teakettle pretty fast. They did however get me some oreos from Ed so that was worth it. I ate them in my car, resembling that of a teal raccoon playing a harmonica and enjoying the treat I got earlier in the day from Ed, IKYK. 342/366. Six months complete!
