| | | | Comments: | No had been out when we started @7:30, snowshoes most definitely were needed. We broke out to the hut figuring someone would have already started up to the peaks. Depths increased steadily 6-10 to the ridge. We broke trail all day, we wandered off trail a couple of time but a track has been laid down. A bare booter came up to North so there are some deep post holes at the summit. Mount Kinsman Trail had been broken out when we came headed down. Only the 2 of us went to South. No views as clouds rolled in with light snow. No winds to speak of, slow down to the hut. Well broken down to lot. I used spikes from here as I had snowshoe issues all day. KRT not broken out past junction. 1 set of tracks to shelter, not sure how far they went.
Snowshoes are a must past the hut!
