20+ downed trees after Mt. Surprise. Many divergences, many “duck and cover” push through sections. |

Excellent day in the mountains. Followed another couple to Mt Surprise, then the fun began! Knee high fresh unpacked trail. Broke trail to Moriah. 1” of ice on every tree led to many leaning/broken trees in the trail, made for very slow progress. |
